Cakeland Treats and Failure

Today’s topic for devotion is very common for everyone: Moving on from failure.

Just as colorful as my breakfast this morning, our lives can turn from all smiles to frowns in an instant. We could be experiencing victories and all and the next thing we know we have just embarrassed ourselves.

“The most common trait I have found in all successful people is that they have conquered the temptation to give up.” – Peter Lowe

It’s not how we end up in failures and disappointments but how we rise above them. The quote above says it all. Successful people can attest to this, at least the real people who worked hard to be where they are. Failure is natural. It is God’s way of telling us we need Him in our lives. It is true, he is never selfish with second chances. When we rise above our failures, he is there to guide us when we make that first step again. It is how we react towards failure that determines our attitude towards success. Have a good morning! šŸ™‚
