Robinson Crusoe

Author: Daniel Defoe

Date Started: March 28, 2017

Date Finished: April 21, 2017

The onset of the story was a little like Gulliver’s Travels (or should I say Gulliver’s Travels was like this one?). Although voyages and shipwrecks are not my thing, I genuinely had a great time reading this book for the main reason that the character showed so much reverence and trust upon God. I have picked up a lot of lessons that are applicable to my life most especially the timely reminder of letting God direct your steps. Also, the character greatly displayed patience and thanksgiving throughout the book.

Again, another book that was unexpectedly interesting! So glad I found it in a pile of books at a book sale.

Check out my favorite passages from the book here.
